It’s getting HOTTER, Pittsburgh moms!
Making it that much more important for you to have your daily water intake.
The infamous “half your body weight in ounces” isn’t really the mom math that applies to you though, as a pregnant woman.
You should be getting at least 90-120 ounces of water, and even more, if you’re out in the sun moving your body.
AND if you feel like you’re nonstop drinking water and STILL feel thirsty?
Then water may not be cutting it.
We suggest having some liquid IV for electrolytes added into it, and while you’re at it, stock up for your birth, too, as you’re going to need them!
And for those of you who are watching your sugar intake, some other alternatives are LMNT Electrolyte Drink Mix!
Other things you can do to ensure that hydration hits your body in just the right places, is to add some Himalayan sea salt, lemon, and while you’re at it, some apple cider vinegar to your water to fight that pesky pregnancy heartburn!
You got this, mamma! Keep on drinking on…even if it is out of the dog’s bowl! You do you! 😉
