What do you consider a higher level of care?
Is it the hospital? Or is it a birth at home?
Often there is a misconception that a hospital birth is the most comprehensive form of care.
But that’s not always the case.
It’s more so about what YOU need.
Would you rather have someone who knows you, or someone who has a bunch of tools?
Midwives around the world are committed to taking care of the mother and her baby as they go through the beautiful adventure that is pregnancy.
No matter where in the world, midwifery is a treasured practice. Because for women around the world, it’s not always about the biggest tools — it’s about the biggest heart.
It’s concepts like this that inspire my very own midwifery practice. And in combination with midwives around the world, it’s how I developed my Midwifery Care Package.
My package is outlined in three parts: Prenatal, birth, and postpartum.
Leading up to birth, I always make sure that you are…
👉In the know with your care, by scheduling appointments, doing checkups and discussing education.
👉All of your questions will be answered, no matter how crazy, so you know that your concerns are being heard.
👉You’ll always be mentally and emotionally supported, because that is often overlooked in traditional birth.
During birth, I will…
👉Help you set the mood & make sure you and your partner are comfortable..
👉Help you give birth to your baby and assist them on their journey from womb to world.
👉I immediately check your newborn, so you know they are doing well and thriving.
After birth, I…
👉Make sure I’m still available for questions so that if something comes up, I can answer it.
👉Visit at 6 weeks if you want so that you know everything is going smoothly postpartum.
👉Continue to support you when needed!
I include all of these things so that you know your pregnancy will be the best it can be, and that you are always valued and heard throughout.
I have the opportunity to offer you services that are built for you, but the longer you wait, the more you chance not being able to have me as your midwife due to the rise in home births!
